I grew up in the Midlands in England. 

After some wondering and wandering in my early twenties, I visited my sister in Western Australia, fell in love with Perth and ended up moving there. Choosing what possessions to ship wasn't easy for a hoarder, but I did take my favourite picture books, even the dog-chewed ones. Later, when I had children, their favourites were added to the bookshelves. 

I completed a creative writing course and began writing stories for children when my own were young.

Meeting family or friends for coffee or lunch
Listening to my disorganised Spotify playlists
Good food and wine
Reading a good book
Dogs
